Yusuf Bangee
Registered Physiotherapist, Fellow of the Canadian Academy Manipulative Physiotherapy, Instructor/Mentor Orthopaedic Division, Owner
Born and raised in Toronto, Yusuf always knew he wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. After breaking his elbow at the age of 14, Yusuf had some Physiotherapy treatment and instantly knew what his calling was. Yusuf attended the University of Toronto where he recieved his Honours Bachelor of Science degree and attended and graduated from the University of Western Ontario’s physiotherapy program with distinction in 2001, receiving the Cardiorespiratory Society’s Student Excellence Award in Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy. He has gone on to aquire his Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy and Certifications in Acupunture and Trigger Point Dry Needling. Yusuf is also an instructor/mentor in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Orthopedic Divison’s AIM system where he helps teach practising physiotherapists advanced techniques, and he is part of the University of Torontos Clinical Internship program.
Yusuf took over at the Scarborough Injury Rehab Centre in 2004 with a focus on bringing high quality physiotherapy to his native Scarborough community. He is an experienced therapist (20+ years!) with a focus on Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, Therapeutic/Corrective Exercise, and Medical Acupuncture/ Trigger Point Dry Needling.
When Yusuf isn’t at work or teaching, he enjoys spending time with his family, exercising (as pictured to left), and cheering on his beloved Raptors and Leafs!

Kristen Nicol
Registered Chiropodist
As an active individual, Kristen always knew growing up, she wanted to pursue a career in health care, helping others. She attended York University and graduated with Honours Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Health Science in 2003. After graduating, she worked as a Kinesiologist, in rehabilitation injury clinics. With her experience there, and her passion for maintaining a healthy balanced, lifestyle she was inspired to study Chiropody, at the Michener Institute, in Toronto. She received her diploma of Podiatric Medicine in 2010. As a foot specialist, Kristen has had the opportunity to work with a variety of patients ranging from children and seniors to patients with diabetes and athletes. Kristen is passionate about helping and educating people, on concerns and issues related to the foot, ranging from nailcare and diabetic footcare to wound management and biomechanics. She enjoys collaborating with inter-professional health teams to provide her patients with the best care possible. Kristen strives to ensure her patients are putting their best ‘feet’ forward.
Stephen Clynick
Registered Massage Therapist
Stephen is a registered massage therapist practicing massage therapy in Ontario for the past 16 years. He has worked in all areas of massage therapy including clinical, in home and the spa environment. He specializes in Swedish, deep tissue, relaxation, trigger point and pre and postnatal massage therapy.
When Stephen is not working at SIRC he spends all his time with his family. He is a husband and father of 3. He has dedicated most of his past 18 years of his life to become a better father and therapist every day.
Helping patients heal through touch therapy is where Stephens passion lies. Whether you are looking for a relaxing, stress relieving treatment or need more therapeutic treatment to help recover from an injury, he is able to meet all your therapeutic needs.

Dr. Wenjin Haw
Chiropractor
Dr. Haw is a Doctor of Chiropractic who initially graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology before attending the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She has also completed her Clinical Acupuncture certification from CMCC.
Dr. Haw has experience treating a multitude of musculoskeletal injuries and has special interest in spinal pain, headaches, and lower body injuries. She is an advocate of encouraging her patients to participate in active rehabilitation as part of their plan alongside manual care to achieve their desired lifestyle.
When Dr. Haw is not treating patients, you can find her spending time in the gym training for dragon boat, snowboarding, or enjoying a game of League of Legends/Valorant.

Thushara Mahindralal
Physiotherapy Resident
After completing her Masters of Physiotherapy from Nitte University, Mangalore, India (2015) and having worked as a Physiotherapist in Dubai for 5 years, Thushara’s journey started with SIRC in the year 2022 as a Physiotherapy Assistant. Fast forward to now, she’s a Resident Physiotherapist, ready to be of service to the community. When working, she’s an involved physiotherapist, listening to her clients’ needs and using research-backed treatment techniques tailored to each client. Outside of work, you will either find her hiking in the woods hugging a tree, taking pictures of animals and birds, or cheering for her favourite drivers in the Formula 1 Grand Prix.


Andrew Patel
PTA, Clinic Manager
Andrew graduated from York University with an Honours degree in Kinesiology and Psychology. He has been a partner at the Scarborough Injury Rehab Centre since 2004 as the Clinic Manager, Student Co-ordinator and Physiotherapy Assistant. Andrew also serves as a mentor to students at the University of Toronto through the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education Mentorship program.

Humera Saiyed
PTA / Client Care Coordinator & Administrator
Humera Saiyed plays a dual role at our clinic, combining her clinical expertise with strong administrative skills to ensure a smooth and supportive experience for every patient. With a background in physiotherapy and healthcare leadership, she assists in delivering personalized treatment plans, guiding patients through their therapy with care and encouragement. In addition to her hands-on support, Humera manages front desk responsibilities, helps coordinate appointments, and maintains clear communication between patients and the care team. Her friendly and organized approach helps create a welcoming environment focused on healing, comfort, and efficiency.
